I’m not afraid of 50, but it’s staring at me like I should be.
I get it. 50 is for career mastery, disposable income and retirement planning. 50 is not – I repeat, not – for career confusion, shoestring budgets and self-inflicted unemployment.
It’s one thing to hit a wall at 50. It’s another thing entirely to see the wall approaching, pick up speed and lean in.
I’m not sure what I am thinking, exactly, but I’m putting on my sunhat, packing up my cliches and heading south of the border to see what 50 looks like from there.
